Nothing Hits Like a Black Woman In Love

I’ve really been in my Black romance bag for a while now, and honestly? I love that for me.

Representation really does matter. There is nothing like a Black woman being loved deeply in all areas. Ugh. Swoon. It just warms my soul. Even the mannerisms and the responses don’t hit the same when the main character isn’t a Black woman. Don’t get me wrong, I love other books where the female characters are not black. Actually, some of my favorite books happens to not even have black people in them. But honestly, black romance just hits different and It just makes sense. And even though I can’t relate, I can relate at the same time. Lol.

So here are some of the books I’ve read with Black main characters:
