New Categories, New Vibes: Restructuring the Blog (Again!)

Just thought to add the song I was listening to while I was writing this post.

I sometimes forget how predictable I am and how well I know myself. A couple of months ago, in this post, I talked about how I tend to reinvent myself and the blog every few months, and here I am again because we’ve done some little restructuring to this blog. Surprisingly, I still like the theme, so we’ll be keeping that until I get tired.😌.

But for now, I’ve changed the blog categories and introduced a new one. Previously, I had AdulThings, Ask an Adult, Career Life, Dose of Gratitude, and Social Life. But I decided to narrow it down. That way, I don’t feel like I have to say so much, and it’s easier to plan posts. Now, the blog is broadly divided into these three categories:

AdulThings:

This category remains the same, focusing on my adulting journey. But instead of breaking things down into subcategories like social life or career life, everything related to adulting will be included here. Whether it’s about my food adventures, how my day went, or general life updates—it’s all part of the AdulThings journey.

Dose of Gratitude:

Just like before, this is where I share what I’m grateful for. It’s a space to reflect on the good things, including moments from my adulting journey I want to appreciate or document or just update.

Dreams Diaries:

DUN DUN DUN! Welcome the new girllll. So, I thought about this section as a space to speak about the sort of life I want. Things I would like to have, whether it’s something on my bucket list, something I’d love someone to say to me one day, or an experience I would want to have. This is my way of speaking things into existence, manifesting it to the world, and praying to God for it.

So, there you have it: it’s like a full-circle approach. I talk about what’s happening in my life through AdulThings, dream about the future in Dreams Diaries, and balance it all with gratitude in Dose of Gratitude. Let’s see how long this structure lasts before I feel the need to change it again😅!

On to more great news: We are officially in April! The second quarter of the year—who’s excited? I am! I would rate the first quarter a strong 4, but I know it can definitely be better because I have deadlines and stuff to figure out, so we need to get to it. So, wish me all the best luck in the world, guys.

This month, I really want to:

  • Go to the gym at least 10 times.
  • Make 5 applications.
  • Get 2 documents signed.
  • Hang out with friends.

I can do this!
